NCADD-Sacramento is once again hosting our Annual Dinner and Awards. We look forward to bringing together the recovering community and the professionals who serve them.  Come celebrate with us on May 3rd for a Safe and Sober Cinco de Mayo.

We are also revitalizing the annual awards. In addition to the Harold Cole Award, we encourage you to consider who in the AOD field exemplifies Visionary Leadership and Excellence in Service, and nominate them-  whether they focus on prevention, treatment or education.

Call for Nominations

Nominations may be submitted online or this form may be faxed or mailed in. All nominations must be received at NCADD-Sacramento’s office by April 19th.  Following are more details about the two award categories now receiving submissions:

Bernie Breining Award for Visionary Leadership

Criteria- This annual award is given to an individual demonstrating the unique combination of vision, leadership and values. The recipient has demonstrated superior, sustained commitment to quality in AOD services with an emphasis on the primary mission of the NCADD, Sacramento, which is “To promote public understanding of alcoholism and other drug dependence as treatable and preventable diseases.”

Jerome Lackner Award for Excellence in Service

Criteria- Recipient provides excellence in delivering services in either education, prevention, treatment or recovery in the Sacramento Community. The recipient of this award will have started or maintained excellent programs and consistently gone above and beyond in their delivery.

Tickets for the event are now available online, and cost savings exist for people who purchase a table for eight.  Items are also being collected for the Silent Auction as well as event sponsorships – we’d gratefully accept any gifts you may want to donate.
