Eagle Scouts do amazing work! Thanks to the contributions of Tyler Festag  of Troop 291, NCADD-Sacramento received over a hundred much needed items on our Wish List. Playcare coordinator Leticia Sotelo was delighted as she opened bag after bag of goodies filled with items that the mothers in our program sorely needed. Dozens of brand new sippy cups and stuffed animals were unpacked to the surprise of the NCADD team.

Our Playcare Center is staffed by Leticia and a group of loyal volunteers. While the mothers are learning how to lead clean and sober lives, their children are lovingly cared for and engaged in play and learning activities. During the recent Holidays, we put out a request to the community to help us replace the well-loved and fully used toys and supplies.  Tyler Festag came forward as part of his Eagle Scout project, and delivered 100 toys!  His donation is much appreciated by the clients, kids and staff at NCADD Sacramento.

The toys, art supplies, puzzles, games, coats, stuffed animals given to our Options for Recovery families will be used and appreciated for months to come. Many thanks to Tyler, his troop and the volunteers who make this service possible.
