Our society is experiencing turbulent financial changes leaving many people feeling vulnerable and powerless. These feelings are exacerbated by our society’s general taboo of talking openly about money and our dependence on unsecured credit. How do these financial dilemmas affect our clients and ourselves? How can we find our power in the midst of this storm of confusion and change?

Health care professionals who treat clients in recovery often have limited knowledge to address the financial repercussions of a life with addiction.
