Many California residents who have Medi-Cal are now eligible to receive alcohol and drug dependence treatment due to the implementation of the Affordable Care Act.  Once an individual has qualified for Drug Medi-Cal, they have the opportunity to receive a wide variety of new services- including treatment for addiction and dependency.
