Research suggests that men and women have unique and different needs in alcohol and drug abuse treatment.

As part of our commitment to providing the best services to our consumers, NCADD Treatment Services are gender specific. All NCADD programs utilize evidence-based/best practice treatment models that are specific to the needs of our consumers. As well, we focus on the individual as a “whole” person and offer an array of ancillary services to enhance treatment success.

Treatment Options

Intensive Outpatient Treatment:

  • Provided 4 days per week, 3 hours per day with morning and afternoon options. This program is designed for consumers to stay in the program for 3-6 months.
  • Perinatal Program for pregnant and parenting women. We have a beautifully appointed nursery and playcare for infants and children.

Outpatient Treatment: (General Outpatient, Prop 36)

  • Individual Counseling sessions 1-3 times per month and 1.5 hour groups, 2-4 times per week for 90 days to 6 months.
  • Perinatal Program for pregnant and parenting women. We have a beautifully appointed nursery and playcare for infants and children.

Ancillary Services

  • Anger Management -12 weeks of Anger Control focused groups.
  • Parenting Classes – women and men participate in “Making Parenting a Pleasure.”
