Up Against The Wall at NCADD Sacramento

People who are looking at quitting their addictions feel like they are up against the wall.

It’s a hard place to be. It feels scary, exciting and dangerous all at the same time. It takes courage to begin the ascent.

The team at NCADD  honored the challenges of this journey by holding an event at Granite Arch where they did some rock climbing to get a taste of the thrills and chills that accompany this sport.  The event took place on Monday, September 10th.

Be sure to support this event next year! Like the journey of recovery, climbing is a team sport. Every climber needs a belayer. That’s the person on the ground who makes sure the climber doesn’t fall, the one who holds the rope steady and shouts words of encouragement along the way. Hmm, sounds like sponsoring to us…..
