The NCADD-Sacramento Annual Awards Dinner took place on October 30th and featured recovery professionals, volunteers and those in recovery who are making a difference for the Sacramento region.
Highlights included the presentation of the following awards:
Harold Cole Prevention Award to Kerri Kaye
Bernie Breining Visionary Leadership Award to Stephen and Ellen Grinstead
Barbara Woodard Volunteer of the Year to Tommy Smith
Emcee Hillary Burton injected some much appreciated humor and the women from NCADD-Sacramento’s Options for Recovery crafted beautiful bird houses for a live auction. Sacramento County Supervisor Don Nottoli presented a resolution commemorating NCADD’s 40 years of service to Sacramento. Guests were treated to a heartfelt presentation by Mrs. California International Melissa Vanni and graduates of NCADD-Sacramento Treatment and Prevention programs shared their success stories of recovery, thanks to the compassionate and talented NCADD team.
