There are many new opportunities for California residents to access healthcare, including treatment for alcohol or drug addiction.
NCADD-Sacramento was the first agency in the State of California to be certified to serve the newly insured population through Drug Medi-Cal.
In California, the federal Medicaid Program is administered by the state as the California Medical Assistance Program (Medi-Cal). This program provides health care services to welfare recipients and other qualified low-income persons, including families with children and the aged, blind, or disabled. Eligibility for Medi-Cal coverage is determined by County welfare departments.
Covered programs at NCADD include perinatal services for moms and pregnant women, and general or intensive outpatient treatment for individuals struggling with substance abuse issues.
We’re also pleased to announce that we now accept various private insurance providers.
