NCADD Sacramento is joining the addiction recovery community and other professionals to kick-off National & California Recovery Month. Thousands of people are expected to gather on the west steps of the State Capitol building on Wednesday, September 5th to enjoy live music, speakers, food, and information booths.

Recovery Happens will serve to raise awareness that RECOVERY IS EVERYWHERE and the expected turnout will demonstrate the widespread human resources available to make recovery possible.

Everyone is welcome as the event starts off with a free pancake breakfast at 8:00 am. Participants can stroll through the booths where they will find a variety of information on health, addiction recovery programs and supportive resources. Come see us at the NCADD Sacramento booth and learn more about our successful prevention and treatment programs.

A Recovery Rally will commence at 11:30 am followed by a free concert performed by Rockstar Superstar Project.

Come to the State Capitol (10th & L Streets) and celebrate recovery!
